Amy Vilela
Amy is a former executive level accountant by trade, a passionate activist for healthcare justice, and a former congressional candidate for Nevada’s fourth congressional district. Amy overcame a background of poverty, raising her children as a single-mother and working her way through college to become the first in her family to earn a degree. With over 18 years in the field of finance, Amy’s expertise is extensive and includes the full complement of finance, accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and reporting functions. Equally important are her qualifications in business planning, operations, software conversions, administration, and general management. She has worked at the executive level in non-profit, public, and private sector throughout her career.
Having run for congress herself, Amy brings a unique mix of professional, personal, and political experiences to the table. She saw firsthand, as a candidate for office, the need for professional accounting services at an affordable and competitive rate. While any candidate for office is going to bring their own skills and expertise to their race, take it from Amy: the need to have professionals helping with the financial aspects of campaigns can not be overstated enough.
Keenan Korth
Keenan is a former architect, a communications specialist, and dedicated progressive activist. In 2018, Keenan managed Amy Vilela's primary campaign for congress in Nevada, overseeing every aspect of the campaign, from developing campaign and fundraising plans, and hiring and managing campaign staff, consultants, and volunteers, to managing strategic budgets and candidate schedules, and implementing robust political, digital, and communications programs. Since then, Keenan has run the communications department and lobbying for public education funding for the Clark County Education Association—the largest independent teachers union in the nation. During his time with the teachers union, he oversaw the ratification of a new three-year contract, ran a complex digital and field campaign for endorsed candidates in the 2018 midterm General Elections, and shepherded the association through a historic strike authorization vote.
Keenan brings a broad, unique, and creative skillset to the campaigns and projects he is a part of, and he is passionate about applying what he’s learned within the progressive movement to help forward our collective goals of equality and justice for all.
